Some of the links on Poker Score are affiliate links. This page explains what that means, where they appear, and what it does — and does not — change about our reviews.
What is an affiliate link?
When you click certain links on this site — typically “visit the official site” or “check pricing” buttons in our reviews — and then make a purchase, the software vendor pays us a commission. That payment comes out of the vendor’s own margin: you pay exactly the same price whether you click through our link or go to the vendor directly.
Where they appear
Affiliate links appear on product review pages and, where relevant, in comparison guides. They always point to the official website of the product being reviewed. They are never used for products we have not reviewed, and we do not insert them into pages where they would not be relevant to what you are reading.
What they do not do
- They do not influence our coverage. We do not accept payment to review a product, to rank it highly, or to exclude a competitor. A product’s presence on this site costs nothing.
- They do not change what we write. Our reviews are research-based: prices, platforms and licence terms are verified against official sources and dated. A vendor cannot buy a more favourable article.
- They do not add cost to you. No price, discount or feature changes because of our links.
Why we use them at all
Running an independent review site costs money — hosting, research time and the work of keeping every article current as software changes. Affiliate commissions are one of the ways the site funds that work, and they keep the site free to read.
Our obligation to you
If an affiliate relationship ever changes in a way that could affect this site’s editorial independence, this page and our methodology will be updated first. Questions or concerns: [email protected].
